  Our offsite PPA services involve developing and constructing renewable energy power plants and providing our clients with the renewable energy and environmental certificates generated by the plants.
  
  Physical PPA - The client purchases electricity generated from a renewable energy source, supplied through the grid, along with a certificate representing the environmental attributes.
  Virtual PPA - The client purchases environmental certificates from the developer (Shizen Energy) while maintaining their existing electricity contract with their retailer.

  FIT non-fossil certificate

  FIT non-fossil certificates are the most widely traded and standardized renewable energy certificates in Japan, and have the value of renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, small hydro, geothermal, and biomass.
  Tracked non-fossil certificates disclose information about where and how the power was generated.
  By obtaining non-fossil certificates, your company can demonstrate that your electricity is generated from renewable sources.
  The certificates can be applied to RE100, CDP, and the Act on Promotion of Global Warming Countermeasures.

  I-REC (International Renewable Energy Certificate)

  I-REC is an international renewable energy certificate issued and used in more than 60 countries/regions worldwide. It is standardized by The International REC Standard Foundation (I-REC Standard) based in the Netherlands.
  Shizen Energy supports not only the procurement of I-RECs around the world but also their registration and issuance in Japan.

  J-Credit

  J-Credits are carbon credits issued under a national certification system in Japan. The amount of CO2 and other emissions reduced through the introduction of energy-saving equipment and the use of renewable energy, as well as the amount of CO2 and other emissions absorbed through appropriate forest management, can be certified and issued as carbon credits.
  The credits can be used for SBT, CDP*, RE100, the Act on Promotion of Global Warming Countermeasures, and the Act on the Rational Use of Energy. They can also be used for short-term, spot carbon offsets, such as for green events.

  Voluntary credit

  Voluntary credits are carbon credits initiated by private organizations such as companies and NGOs. They include not only renewable energy, but also carbon credits generated from activities to protect terrestrial ecosystems such as marine ecosystems and forests.
