Wind Power

Wind Power

In February 2018, we completed our first wind power plant in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, and since then we have been involved in multiple wind power projects, and have extensive experience ranging from development to construction, operation and maintenance, and asset management.

Shizen Energy believes in developing power plants that are rooted in the local community. We listen carefully to the thoughts and ideas of the landowner, and then develop a plan for a power plant that fits the characteristics of the land. In addition to the functions of power plant construction and operation and maintenance, we can also propose solutions that combine the various services of the Shizen Energy Group, such as renewable energy certificates, power purchase agreements (PPA), and controlling the balance of supply and demand for electricity through energy management systems.

Once the design process is complete, it is handed over to construction, and once power transmission begins, it is handed over to maintenance and management.

Survey and basic design
  • Consultation with customers
  • On-site survey (confirmation of location conditions, solar radiation, wind conditions, flow conditions, etc.)
  • Basic design (layout, placement of modules and other power generation equipment, calculation of power generation volume)
Negotiations
  • Discussions with utility companies regarding grid interconnection
  • Discussions with local stakeholders
  • Decision by the business owner
Permit acquisition
  • Acquisition of various licenses and permits
  • Application for facility certification to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry
  • Implementation of environmental assessment (depending on conditions such as output)

We will propose the optimal solution by coordinating the various services of the Shizen Energy Group.
