EPC
In the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) of solar power plants, we design the selection and layout of the equipment to suit the characteristics of the site to maximize the amount of power generated, as well as the civil engineering, cabling and power transmission. We use our global purchasing network to source the equipment needed to build the power plant at the best price from around the world. We also handle all aspects of importation and logistics management. During construction, we work with local contractors to perform civil and electrical work, including site development, mounting racks, and panel and substation installation.
EPC process
Once the design process is complete, it is handed over to construction, and once power transmission begins, it is handed over to maintenance and management.
Engineering
- We propose the most appropriate power and civil engineering designs for each site and client’s needs, using our own simulations
- We also handle grid connection applications with utility companies
Procurement
- We select and procure the most suitable equipment for each project, using our global purchasing network
- We set our own standards and select reliable partners. In addition to assessing the financial standing of potential partners, we conduct our own quality tests on each piece of equipment
Construction
- We work in partnership with various construction companies in the area, and we execute construction plans accurately through teamwork that makes the best use of each other’s knowledge and experience
- We carry out detailed and careful work, such as making on-site design adjustments according to the situation, in order to achieve high power generation efficiency
Group function
We will propose the optimal solution by coordinating the various services of the Shizen Energy Group.
