Shizen Energy Inc. (Shizen Energy, we, our) is engaged in the business of power generation from renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and small-scale hydroelectric power plants (IPP), business development, financing, asset management, and electricity retailing for individuals and corporations. We recognize that the protection of personal information, personal numbers, and specific personal information of our customers, business partners, and employees is an important responsibility. Therefore, based on our philosophy of personal information protection and the code of conduct we have established, we fully recognize our social mission, and we shall comply with laws and regulations regarding the protection of the rights of individuals and personal information.
In addition, we hereby declare that we have established a personal information protection management system to realize the following policy, and that we shall make company-wide efforts to continuously improve the system while always being aware of the latest trends in IT technology, changes in social demands, and changes in the business environment.
- We shall acquire, use, and provide personal information in an appropriate manner, and shall not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the specified purpose of use. In addition, measures shall be taken that this is ensured.

・Personal information to our shareholders is used for communication, provision of various information, etc., shareholder management, and related and incidental operations.
・Personal information of our employees for personnel management, business management, health management, security management, etc.
・The personal numbers of our employees and their dependent spouses are used for the purposes specified by law.
・Direct applicant information to the company for hiring purposes
・Information of personnel of subcontractors is for the purpose of skill verification, and for provision to the contractor.
・Information of job applicants from the Public Employment Security Office and private job information websites is used for recruitment purposes.

7.Measures taken for the secure management of retained personal data
We have established rules for the handling of personal information and specified personal information, as well as rules for safety measures, and have taken the following measures.
(1) Organizational safety management measures
・ We have established a policy regarding the handling of personal information, and have made it known within the company as our personal information protection policy, and have made it available on our web page for the general public to obtain.
・ For each stage of acquisition, use, storage, provision, deletion/disposal, etc., we have established procedures for handling personal information, including handling methods, responsible persons and persons in charge, and their duties, which are summarized in a regulation document and communicated within the company.

・ Personal information is stored in locked cabinets and on servers with restricted access.
・ Firewalls and other measures are installed to prevent unauthorized access from outside to servers and other equipment.We also take measures against computer viruses and other malicious software.
・ The following measures are taken when transferring personal information:
