juwi Shizen Energy Completes Construction of 54MW Utility Scale Solar Power Plant in Sano, Tochigi ~Largest Completed Construction to Date~
juwi Shizen Energy Inc. (juwi Shizen Energy) has completed construction of a utility-scale solar power plant of approximately 53.9 MW (DC) in Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture, and the handover was completed on June 3, 2022.
This power plant is constructed on a former golf course in Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture and began construction in October 2020. The annual output is expected to be approximately 62 million kWh. This is the largest power plant that juwi Shizen Energy has completed. In addition, the handover of the plant was approximately two months earlier than originally planned, due to successful EPC management.
With the completion of this power plant, juwi Shizen Energy has now reached a total of 479.4 MW (DC) of completed construction in Japan. juwi Shizen Energy is also currently constructing power plants amounting to a total of 244.1 MW (DC), which includes Azuma Kofuji 1 Solar Power Plant (100MWdc) and Pacifico Energy Sanda Mega solar(121MWdc), which are two of Japan’s largest scale power plants.
juwi Shizen Energy will contribute to building a sustainable society through the construction of high-quality, community-based renewable energy power plants, utilizing the knowledge and expertise it has accumulated in Japan and overseas.
